Signature of ownership: “Yona bar Shlomo Romm.” – Rabbi Raphael Yona son of Rabbi Shlomo Re’em (1871-1922) was a rabbi from Jerusalem, a member of the Beit Din of the Perushim in Jerusalem, a dayan on the beit din for appeals and a rabbi of one of the city’s neighborhoods. As well as studying the revealed Torah, he built a close relationship with the kabbalists of Jerusalem, especially the rabbis of the Beit El yeshiva for kabbalists and the kabbalist Rabbi Shimon Zvi Horowitz and began praying from a prayer book with the kavanot of the Rashash. However, he used to conceal his study of kabbalah. He was a member of the first Council of the Chief Rabbinate.
