At the beginning of the work is a poem on the maalah of Aleppo: “a beautiful land from which the kol Torah has never ceased.” The book includes wordings from gravestones of Sfardi sages in Israel, Damascus, Salonika, Izmir, and much other historical material on the generations of Sfardi Jewry.
Section 3 was printed in Jerusalem in 1935, and later the author attached the other sections.
