Sefer Bat Ami, “on agunot and agunei hashmad, clarifications, research, and chiddushei halachot on the laws of agunot left after the Shoah in the lands of Nazi destruction during the last World War”, by Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Toledano. First edition. 72 pages (there are copies which appear with [4] additional pages at the end on a yibum of a communist). Soft printed jacket, worming holes, stains, overall good condition.

The jacket has a dedication and handwritten signature of the author: “for the administration of the Eliyahu HaNavi synagogue”.

Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Toledano (1880-1961) was an Israeli rabbi, posek, and public figure, who served as rabbi of Tel Aviv-Yafo and Minister of Religious Affairs in the 8-9th Israeli governments. Even before that he was Av Beit Din and deputy Chief Rabbi of Cairo, Av Beit Din and Chief Rabbi in Alexandria, and member of the Appeals Beit Din in Egpyt, where he served until returning to Israel because he was selected as City Rabbi of Tel Aviv in 1942.
