Sefer Maor Einayim, part 2, a commentary on the Ein Yaakov by Rabbi Yaakov ben Haviv, by Rabbi Yeshayahu Pinto the first (the Rif). First edition, Mantua 1743.
The book was published by Rabbi Moshe Najara of Tzfat from a manuscript he found in the library of Rabbi Shmuel Laniado in Aleppo. The book features the rare approbation of Rabbi Chaim Abulafya, responsible for rejuvenating the Tiberias Jewish community, as well as others from Tzfat and Mantua rabbis.
Title page has a framed, pretty woodcut engraved illustration. [2], 98 leaves. Worming damage, moisture stains, no binding, fair condition.
