Tzemach David, three sections, Jewish history from the world’s Creation until the yar 1692. By Rabbi David ben Shlomo Ganz. Offenbach 1768. [1], 38, 83 leaves. Leaves 64b-75a: third section (added by Rabbi David Ben Moshe Mariendorf to the original work). Section 2 has a special title page, with the author’s name.
Long introduction by the author, who writes of the segulot of the number 6 with an illustration similar to the Star of David we know well. Antique (loose) binding, defective leather spine, stains, in one area it is very dark, otherwise overall good condition.
The blank leaves have notes: “Falk ben Rabbi Wolf Lubach”, “Yaakov Philip? Prague”, “David Fermbitin.”. Title page: “Itzik Katz(?).” Not checked thoroughly.
