Lot 33:
Ktav Plaster, printed in Yiddish, filled with wild slander against a rabbinical figure. The slanderers list a number of deeds which they claimed that rabbi to have done: “he threw the gemaras at our heads”, “he walks with the Zionists”. They end the letter with the classic phrase “This is only a bit of his actions…” The slanderers write that the rabbi was expelled from the Șimleu yeshiva and details can be corroborated on that matter with Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, Av Beit Din of Șimleu.
Rare, not in the National Library. 32x23cm. Stapled to a cardboard envelope, creases, good condition.
