Letter on official letterhead of the Admor Rabbi Eliezer Fish of Hodos, son and successor of the Admor Rabbi Chezekaya Fish of Mátészalka hy”d, sent in 1977 from his residence in Wiliamsburg (NY), written entirely by hand, addressed to the Admor Rabbi Yehiel Leifer of Timișoara, whom he titles as “my beloved dear relative the wonderful gehatz and son of martyrs…”

He blesses the recipient Admor with mazal tov for his son’s wedding (based on the date he is referring to Rabbi Yehoshua Leifer, president of the Oz v’Hadar group), and he gives many blessings and updates the Admor about his daughter’s wedding and other matters and ends with his name and his mother’s name (“Eliezer ben Rochele Peril, please remember me for good during our happy times while our holy fathers are close by and close to us.”)
