Letter handwritten and signed by the Admor Twersky of Hornsteipel, sent to his brothers who remained in Antwerp. From 1936, the only year that he lived in Tel Aviv after making Aliyah. His attempt to settle there unsuccessfully and later moved back to Antwerp.

The content is instructions to his sons regarding management of the synagogue in Antwerp, and As well as additional content that has not been fully identified. Official letterhead (Address: Tel Aviv, HaMaggid 7). 28x21cm. Very good condition.

Admor Rabbi Ben Zion Leib Twersky (1868-1951) was the son of Rabbi Mordechai Dov of Hornosteipel, and son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzhak Yoel of Kontikozina (grandson of the Tsu’at Chen). When his father died in 1903 he succeeded him. In 1939 he travelled to Antwerp, when WWII suddenly broke out. Then he travelled to the US and settled in Chicago, until his death in 1951.
