Sefer Imrei Tal, “commentary on Mikrai Kodesh and maamarei chazal in the Shas and midrashim and Zohar…based on wisdom and the works of the kabbalists”, by Rabbi Yosef Pelner, shoel u’bodek in Łomża, son of Rabbi Avraham Yeshaya. First edition. 210 pages in the original, this copy is missing the last leaf which contained some of the subscriber names.

Many approbations from geonim and Chassidic gedolim of the period, including Rabbi Chaim of Brisk, Rabbi Chanoch Zvi HaKohen of Gur (Bendin), Rabbi Shmuel Zenowil Kleppisch of Warsaw, Rabbi Nehemiah Alter of Rodzmin, Rabbi Moshe Nachum Yerushalmsky, Rabbi Avraham Chaim Danziger, and more. At the end is a letter from the gaon Rabbi Yosef Dov Beer, Av Beit Din of Brisk. Other letters as well. At the end are many subscriber names from all over Poland, including many well-known rabbis.

Loose binding, the front is detached, defective spine, stains, tape and repairs with missing bits of a few pages, a few bits of worming damage adjacent to the spine in a group of pages, most of the book is in good condition.
