Sefer Ben Avraham, section called “Beit HaSafek”. A work built on the Siftei Kohen, Shach on the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah. By Rabbi Avraham ben Rabbi Moshe Abukara. Brought to the publisher by Rabbi Yaakov Abukara, relative of the author. [3], 72 leaves. The author died around two years before the book was brought to the printer.

At the end is “Issur v’Heter of Rabbeinu Yerucham, whose manuscript was in the estate of Rabbi Avraham Abukara.” Printed using the same printer and year as the above work.

Detached title page, leather spine, paper a little brittle, overall good condition.

The title page has a dedication in Mizrahi script from “Moharar Yaakov Gaz” (?), in the handwriting and with the signature of the publisher, Rabbi Yaakov Abukara (1843-1941), son of Rabbi Eliyahu. He was a rabbi and Zionist leader in Tunisia. He served as dayan in the Tunisian beit din and from 1914 until his death he served as Chief Rabbi of the Livorno community in Tunisia.
