Mizrahi manuscript, the Sefer Parshat Derachim by the gaon Rabbi Yehuda Rosernis, author of the Mishnah LaMelech. The autograph was written probably by a rabbi of the time, with alterations from the printed edition. Based on the writing and the paper, it is from the period of the book’s first printing (1728).

A few notes are in the margins. Pretty, uniform script. Based on the note on the blank first leaf it seems to have travelled to Morocco and from there reached Rabbi Baruch Asbagh, who later sold it to Rabbi David Marciano. More than 230 written pages.

20x15cm. Only the front binding is extant, from the period, detached. Worming holes and damage, various stains.
