Lot 084:
Typewritten letter on official letterhead of the Rebbe’s secretary. From 24th Iyar, 1992. He blesses the recipient on the bris of his son: “May it be God’s will that he will be entered into the brit of Avraham Avinu, and just as he enters into the brit may he be entered for Torah, chuppah, and maasim tovim, may you raise him together with your wife. With mazal tov blessings.”
Signed by the Rebbe’s secretary, Rabbi Shalom Menachem Mendel Simpson, “in the name of the Admor shlita.” However, it is known that many letters supposedly signed by the secretaries were signed by the Rebbe himself in their names.
