Addressed to his son’s in-law, Rabbi Shalom Yosef Elyashiv, whom he praises with wonderful and interesting titles: “the Gaon HaGadol HaMefursam Peer HaZman.” He asks how the latter is doing and gives many flowery blessings: “in honor of the chag I bless the rav gaon shlita and all those who accompany him, may they have a wonderful and kosher chag pesach and may they merit all dear things, may we merit seeing soon the rebuilding of the Temple and may we eat from the sacrifices and the pesach offering and may Hashem be crowned again with rachamim and a complete geulah.”
At the end he adds a single line: “a drishat shalom from your son-in-law and daughter (Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky and the rabbanit Bat Sheva) and all of the family.”
