Admor Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Kopischnitz (1888-1967) was the son of the first Admor of Kopischnitz, Rabbi Yitzhak Meir Heschel, grandson of the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Shraga of Husiatyn, son of the Kadosh Yisrael of Ruzhin. He was son-in-law of his uncle Admor Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Heschel of Medzhibizh-Warsaw. During WWI he ran away with his family of Beit Ruzhin to Vienna and helped the masses of refugees arriving there. After the Anschluss he immigrated to the USA and established his chatzer in East Side and then Boro Park. He led Agudas Yisrael and the Chinuch Atzma’i. He is buried in Tiberias. His grandson is the Admor Rabbi Yitzhak Meir Flintenstein shlita of Kopischnitz, his successor, in Jerusalem.
