The Admor Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Rabinowitz of Kherson (1880-1942) was the author of the She’erit Yaakov and son of the Admor Rabbi Pinchas of Kantikozowa and son-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Zalmina of Rashkov. In 1925 he moved to Israel and was one of the first Admorim to immigrate to Israel before the Shoah.
