Lot 184:
Dozens of rolled pieces of paper written in Arabic.
Contains piskei denim of batei din in Morocco, with signatures of dayanim and official stamps of the batei denim. At the top of each document (on the back) is a line in Judeo-Arabic with a summary of the document itself. A minority are in Hebrew or French, typewritten. A small number are facsimiles.
Originally wrapped inside bamboo shoots—two still extant. Total of around 140 documents, not checked thoroughly.
