Approbations from Rabbi Yosef of Steinhardt, Av Beit Din of Furth, Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Av Beit Din of Schwabach, and Rabbi Netanel Ashkenazi Weil of Prague, Av Beit Din of Karlsruhe and Baden.
Antique leather binding, stains, worming holes and damage, paper partly brown, most of the text is in good condition.
Stamps and signatures with the name “Yisrael Chaim Braun, Rabbi in Halle” in Hebrew and German. “Yaakov Moshe Braun”.
Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Braun (1869-1945) was Av Beit Din in Halle (Saale), Germany, and later Rabbi in the Beit Midrash “Torat Chesed” of Budapest. He was the grandson of the gaon Rabbi Feivel Boskowitz, Rabbi of Dindish, and son-in-law (2nd marriage) of Rabbi Baruch Bendit Liechtenstein, Av Beit Din of Kroly and Krosano.
