Typewritten certification of divorce written on official letterhead of the “Chief Rabbinate of Petah Tikva and the area”, from 28th Adar I, 1943. Under the title “Maaseh Beit Din” the dayanim listed the act of the get and the names of those involved and the witnesses, and signed by hand: “Reuven ben Shimon HaKohen Avdak, Yitzhak Meir ben Menachem, Ovadya Hadaya.” Official stamp of the rabbinate.

Rabbi Reuven HaKohen Katz (1880-1964) was the son of Rabbi Shimon. He was the Rabbi of Petah Tikva for more than 30 years, and head of the Petah Tikva yeshiva and author of Shut Degel Reuven and other works. He won the Rav Kook Prize for Judaic Literature in 1950.

Rabbi Yitzhak Meir ben Menachem (Pachiner) (1898-1960) was the son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel. He was a member of the Supreme Rabbinical Court and a student of Rabbi Naftali Trop—the Granat. He worked to glorify the works of the Rishonim.

The kabbalist Rabbi Ovadya Hadaya (1890-1969) was the son of the kabbalist Rabbi Shalom. He served as head of the Beit El kabbalist yeshiva, and a member of the Council of Torah Sages, and a member of the Supreme Rabbinical Court, Sefardi Rabbi of Petah Tikva, and won the Israel Prize for Judaic Literature for 1968. He wrote the Shut Yaskil Avadi.
