Complete set of the important foundational work, a cornerstone of every Jewish home in our generation, the Mishnah Brurah by the holy Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen of Radin, author of the Chafetz Chaim. Mostly first edition, printed by the author himself. Some volumes have the note “Moga”.

The copy before us has the fifth section of halachot Pesach with a special variant, in which the first ends at siman 494 (leaf 101) and the second begins with 495 (also marked as leaf 101) with a change in the structure of the daf only suited to siman 494, which makes clear that it was printed in this manner and it an original single volume was not subsequently split into two. First section: Siman 1-127. 151, 1 leaves (the additional page is a “table of contents” for Section 2). Warsaw. Title page: 1884. Back of the title page: 1896. Moga note twice in pen.

Second section: Siman 128-241. 154 leaves. The last leaf with a table of contents is bound with part 1. Warsaw. Back of the title page: 1896.

Section 3: Siman 242-344. [1], 195 leaves. First edition, Warsaw 1891 (the back of the title page lists 1884 as the year of printing for the first section). Two Moga notes, in pen and pencil.

Fourth section: Siman 345-428. [1], 196-290 leaves. First edition 1898. Moga note twice in pencil.

Fifth section (divided as stated into two volumes): 1. Siman 429-494. 101 leaves. First edition Warsaw 1902. 2. (no title page in the original) Siman 495-529. 101-153, [1] leaves. Moga note in pencil. Sixth section: Siman 530-697. 164 leaves. First edition, Pietrekov 1907.

Various conditions, a few pages are detached, a few worming holes, tape and defects, old bindings with defects, overall good condition.
