Lot 271:
Certification letter for the Shadar Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Stockmer of Jerusalem, signed by hand by the Admor Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz and the well-known chassid Rabbi Menashe Hass.
The certificate states “the above Rahak in seeing the great struggles of our holy and famous yeshiva, and its difficult struggle for existence, has taken upon himself the yoke with mesirus nefesh.”
The days of our Rabbi’s tenure as Rosh Yeshiva of Viznitz were a golden era for the Admor in particular and in the history of the House of Viznitz in general. Many famous students arose during that time.
