Long letter in English from Rabbi Baruch Aharon Popka, spiritual leader of the Shaarei Torah community in Pittsburgh, addressed to Rabbi Shmuel Avidor HaKohen, Rabbi of Kfar Shmaryahu.

The letter references the miracles of the Six Day War, and complements Rav Avidor’s journalistic work in “Panim el Panim” which had reached Pennsylvania and encouraged the Jews of the Diaspora.

Two leaves with the rabbi’s official logo. 18x27cm, stains, folds, good condition.

Rabbi Baruch Aharon Popka was the son and grandson of an Israeli rabbinical family. He served as head of the Mizrahi movement and Poal Mizrahi in the US, and was the spiritual leader of the Shaarei Torah community in Pittsburgh.
