Draft of a tshuva on laws of avelus (mourning) for relatives of a suicide, written entirely by hand by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sacks, son-in-law of the Chafetz Chaim. “I was asked about someone without bread and hope, who went a number of years ago, and said I am tired of life, and he committed suicide…Gd forbid we judge this man for evil…”.
Chiddushei Torah are written on the back of an official piece of letterhead, bearing the rabbi’s official logo. Folded in half. Good condition, 14x21cm.
