Lot 193:
Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah, part 1, halachot of shechita, milk and meat, mixtures, and more, with more than 50 handwritten, long notes with important content. Early 20th century.
It is clear from their content that they were written by a huge talmid chacham, some of them comment on the Pri Megadim, a number on Rav Akiva Eiger, also on the Shaarei Tshuva, in which he refutes the latter’s remarks in one of the notes.
Partially missing copy: missing the title page until the 15th leaf, and a number of leaves from the end of the volume. Tears and wear on a number of pages, no binding, notes mostly in good, readable condition.
