Holy letters of the Great Sages of the Generation, leaders of the Diaspora from the Iger Family, the ancient author, and from the Sages of Israel who composed letters to them; including the Rav Mofet HaDor Maran Akiva Iger and his son-in-law Rav Moshe Sofer, and his son HaRav Avraham Shmuel Binyamin Sofer, and his brother Maran Shimon Sofer and letters from Rabbeinu Simcha Bonem Sofer. Published by their son and grandson HaRav Shlomo ben Avraham Shmuel Sofer. Throughout the book are pictures and facsimiles of the handwriting of the Geonim folded up and opened within the book.

The back of the title page has a stamp in Latin letters and a note of ownership with the signature of Rabbi Yaakov (Jacob) Tessler, the son of Rabbi Elimelech Shimshon, author of the work Acharit HaYamim on Israel’s redemption and the messiah. Liege 1942.
