“Jewish Leaders Faithful to the United Jewish Front”, a propaganda booklet with maamarim from Jewish sages and rabbis in favour of the United Jewish Front, a political party which united religious Zionism and Agudas Yisrael for the country’s first elections.
The United Religious Front was a singular and transitory episode in Israeli history, in which the parties Agudas Yisrael, Poalei Agudah, Mizrahi, and Poalei Mizrahi united for the country’s first election in 1949.
The booklet has drashot from the Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Herzog, head of the Ponevezh yeshiva Rabbi Yosef Shlomo Kahneman, Rabbi Yitzhak Meir Levin, and letters from Admorim of the Ruzhin sphere: Admorim of Husiatyn, Sadigura, Bohosh, and Boyan. A historic remnant of a singular moment in Haredi Jewish history.
