A Heter Agunah given to “Breindel Werker” by the Special Beit Din for Freeing Agunot, signed by the gaon Rabbi Yisrael Weltz, Av Beit Din of Budapest, Rabbi Yaakov Segel Leibowitz, and Rabbi Avraham Eliezer Citron, Av Beit Din of Darg.

This unique beit din was established in Budapest immediately after the Shoah by the gaon Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Roler and worked on thousands of cases wherein men and women had relatives murdered in the Shoah. The beit din got testimonies from people who survived the camps and ghettos and was able in a significant majority of cases to free spouses from the suspicion of agunah.
