Lot 059:
Complete set of the Talmud Bavli. A number of volumes in it feature title pages from the Stettin edition (originally it was printed in Stettin but only a few volumes; these are extremely rare and are not located at most libraries, including the National Library—we found in the Bar-Ilan library). The rest are from the Berlin-Warsaw edition.
This is probably a continuation of the edition with the same printing blocks and not a facsimile edition. Printed in Warsaw 1875-78.
Masechet Bava Kama is a facsimile edition from later.
Two title pages in each volume. Matching new bindings, very good condition. These were not checked on a page-by-page basis for completion.
