1. Sefer Iyov (Job)/Daniel/Ezra-Nehemiah, with Yiddish translation, printed by Rabbi Moshe Shapira, Slavita 1819. 178 leaves (original)—this copy is missing the title page and contains: 2-177 leaves. Binding detached, no spine. Light-blue paper.


2. Sefer Yehoshua/Shoftim/Shmuel with Yiddish translation, nted by Rabbi Moshe Shapira, Slavita 1819. [2], 60, 216 leaves (original)—this copy is missing the title page and contains: 60, 83 leaves. No spine. Light-blue paper, handwritten notes.

From the Mifal Bibliographia: “in this edition the ‘Perush Ashkenaz’ [the translation/commentary HaMaggid, written by Rabbi Yaakov Kranitz of Dubnow] is completely different from prior editions, both in its content and design. In practice, this is a new translation whose vocabulary and sentence structure is completely different from prior editions, which largely preserved the old style. In addition, the translation is also printed here using block letters, whereas prior editions printed the translations using the traditional style of Ashkenazi “Ivri-Deutsch”, using Tze’ina u’Reina letters.”
