Postcard handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Kluger, addressed to Rabbi Avner Katvan, a rabbi in Romania, with strong words of encouragement to stand up for truth and strengthen religion. He writes “I hereby give to you tshu’ot chen for standing for what is right and for the truth and not for falsity, may it continue I the coming days and not be afraid”. Autographs from the rabbi are extremely rare. 14x9cm. Stains, tape, good condition.

Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Kluger (1841-1916) was the son of the famous Rabbi Shlomo Kluger of Brody. He learned mostly under his father, who writes of his son’s kushiyot as young as 7 or 10 in the book “Mili d’Nezikin”. He was known as a great talmid chacham and a founder of the Mekitzei Nirdamim group. His tshuvot were printed in 1933 in the book Shut Sha’arei Binyamin.
