A ketubah form written on a piece of paper, the year that appears to be filled in here is five thousand and seven hundred for the creation of the world (early 1940s). “According to the agreement customary in Jerusalem.” The names of the bride and groom, the witnesses, the city, and the current year are empty to be filled in.
Decorated with colorful illustrations, done by hand: palm trees on both sides, fish and Stars of David, with a pair of peacocks on top surrounded by plants. In the center is a menorah, a shofar, birds, pomegranates. Around it are frames composed of verses and blessings for the couple.
In a handsome wooden frame, protected with glass. Including the frame: 93x71cm. Various stains as a result of moisture, authentic item preserved in very good condition.
