Lot 151:
Typewritten letter on official letterhead, from the days of slichot 1954. With blessings for the new year: “I wish to express my blessing to the recipient and his family, for a ketiva and chatima tova for a good and sweet new year, in gashmiyus and ruchniyus”. Handwritten addition of “BeKavod v’” to the blessing. Handwritten signature of the Rebbe.
Attached to the letter is a pamphlet “Elul Likkut”. Published by Kehat the same year. This is a very rare instance of the Rebbe including a pamphlet in a letter sent in the mail—it is well-known that the Rebbe tended to pass them out by hand.
Filing holes which damage the text of the pamphlet a little, overall good condition.
