Lot 147:
“In accord with the fact that the global community of Chabad chassidim have crowned the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel shlita Schneerson as successor to his holiness the Admor, and it follows that all matters of nisiut of Chabad regarding the chassidim and yeshivot and institutions have passed to the authority of the Admor shlita; and in order to organize matters of the institutions, yeshivot, and talmudei torah; Agudas Chassidei Chabad and Kfar Chabad hereby set details of matters of organization as they need to be.”
Below this introduction are various takanot related to management and administration of institutions and a clarification of the command hierarchy under the Rebbe’s leadership, at the Merkaz Yeshivot Tomchei Temimim, Agudas Chassidei Chabad, and Kfar Chabad. They also order everyone to change their official letterhead to note the Rebbe as leader of the community and his brother-in-law Rabbi Shmaryahu Guraryeh as head of the Vaad HaPoel Tomchei Temimim, and make note of other roles and secretaries.
This is an original typewritten document from the 3rd of Av, 1951, just after the Rebbe accepted the Admorut.

This rare document was found in the state of the well-known Chassid – Rabbi Avraham Paris (1889-1968) was a pioneer in spreading Chassidut in the US, as leader of the Center for Educational Matters and Comptroller of Chabad Institutes in Israel. He was very close to the Rebbe and worked to spread Chassidut via sichot of the Rayatz. Over the years he worked with the Rebbe in the same room, and had an especially close relationship with him.
