In advance of the Chag HaGeulah, the Rebbe ordered the publication of the famous pamphlet, with new additions (some for the first time). Content: Maamarim from the Admor Rayatz, to be said during the week of Chag HaGeulah HaRishon, 12th Tammuz 1928. With maamarim from the Admor offering a foundation and exegesis on these maamarim. The Admor requested that at the end they copy at the end of the introduction the section which appears in the 11th Nissan pamphlet, together with a note below regarding the Mizmor 89 in Psalms.

On Sunday night, eve of the 9th of Tammuz 1990, they printed thousands of copies in a new edition. They added some letters from 1928 at the end. The Rebbe returned from the Ohel at 9:45pm (approximately), and after a few minutes he entered the shul for minchan and maariv. Meanwhile the public was notified that after maariv the Admor would give out the new pamphlet, so a large crowd gathered.

Those with sharp vision noted that the last pamphlet given by the Rebbe, 11th Nissan, which had been left in his siddur ever since, was not there. At the end of Maariv, the Admor went down to the chaluka station next to his bimah, and began giving out copies with dollars inserted. The Admor gave each of those who passed a copy and didn’t make any motions. To many of those who passed him he smiled (especially children). When a chatan and kallah passed, he blessed them with mazal tov, and gave them two copies. The chaluka went quickly, and one of the journals notes that when the men were passing, around 40 were given out in a minute. The Admor gave around 30,500 pamphlets, each with a dollar.
