Lot 056:
Complete set, ten volumes containing the famous work Sdei Chemed by the gaon Rabbi Chaim Chezekaya Medini of Chevron, which constitutes a sort-of encyclopedia for klalim of Shas, organized alphabetically. Including the indices and miluim.
Printed upon the personal request of the Rayatz. Published by Kehat New York between 1949-1953. Each volume has, on the back of the title page, an introduction from the publisher (the Rebbe himself during his father-in-law’s lifetime). The last volume has a change in wording regarding his father-in-law, whom is remembered after his death. On the facing page is the inscription: “In the middle of the preparation of this volume his Holiness passed away… Yosef Yitzhak…the Admor of Lubavith gaon Yisrael.”
Additional title page for the indices, pretty printed bindings, light defects in some volumes, overall very good condition.
