Shaar Kriyat HaTorah, a unique work on the laws of Kriyat HaTorah, collected from the piskei halacha of the Rishonim and Achronim, and minhagim, by the gaon Rabbi Dov Beer Krosik, Av Beit Din of Karlevitz, a student of the Admor Tzemach Tzedek. 16, [1] leaves.

After searching widely we only found one copy in the National Library, which also had a final leaf (unpaginated) containing: “Table of Errors in the Book Shaar Kriyat HaTorah.”

No binding, stains, overall good condition.

The back of the rear blank leaf has a number of handwritten lines, not checked.

The chassid Rabbi Dov Beer Kresik was a huge gaon and an important student of the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch. He wrote Meir Einei Sofrim, Halachot Olam, and other books. He led the yeshiva in Wolkovisk, and then served as Av Beit Din of Holsk. He became rabbi of Karlowitz and is buried there.
