Lot 033:
Two first editions of the “Ohel Yosef Yitzhak” Psalms, published at the initiative of the Rebbe, who picked the name “Ohel Yosef Yitzhak” in order to awaken the zechus of the Admor HaRayatz, who worked to ingrain in the community the saying of Psalms on a daily basis.
1. Psalms Ohel Yosef Yitzhak, first edition, published by Kehat, Brooklyn 1952. The title page has written: “in order to awaken and continue the zechus…we called for this release of Psalms to be named ‘Ohel Yosef Yitzhak’”. 223, [5] pages. Binding is loose, good condition.
2. The complete Psalms Ohel Yosef Yitzhak, with ten commentaries, including the “Ohr Yahel” by the Admor Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch. This edition was printed a year after the first edition (above) which did not feature commentaries. Brooklyn 1953. 744, [6] pages. Good condition.
