Lot 022:
“First section with droshim on the first two books of the Torah, Bereishit and Shmot…”, and some droshim on moadim, by the Admor HaZaken, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liady, author of the Tanya.
According to testimonies the title page was printed in New York, but on the back of the title page the Rebbe notes that upon the orders of the “Admor shlita” the book was released as part of a series released that year by the Kehat branch in Munich. Fourth publishing. At the end are additions from the author, with a separate cover, called “Hotzaah Shlishit.”
Originally [3], 100, 24 leaves (248 pages). Missing the first title page. Light tears in the title page, good condition.
