The book Tzemach Tzedek with Piskei Dinim from the Shulchan Aruch Orech Chaim and Yoreh De’ah, by the Admor Tzemach Tzedek, printed in Shanghai.
Bibliographers have marked this edition as Shanghai 1946 though it requires clarification—Chabad books published in Shanghai between 1946-1947 were published by the Rebbe upon the orders of the Rayatz, while this work does not mention the Rebbe at all! Secondly, the Rebbe, in his introduction to the Tzemach Tzedek (New York, 1945) notes that some of the piskei denim are third edition! So we believe that this Shanghai edition must have been published in 1943, approximately.
