Lot 019:
Two books by the Middle Admor of Chabad, Rabbi Dov Beer Schneerson, printed in Shanghai by the “Vaad Hadpasat d’Ach of the Tomchei Temimim yeshiva, Lubavitch.”
A. Imrei Binah, including the title pages on Kriyat Shma, Tzitzit, and Tefillin, in which is discussed the sugiyot of “Achdus Hashem.”
B. Perush HaMilot, Mahadura Batra (2nd edition), maamarim of Chassidus organized according to the order of prayers.
The books were published by the Rebbe, who wrote a short introduction on the back of the title page with a bibliographic description of the book. These were published for the refugees who arrived in Shanghai at the height of WWII.
Two books bound together (original). [2], 82, 25, [2], 114, [1] leaves. Defective spine, very good condition.
