Lot 221:
A printed drash in Yiddish given by Rabbi Yoel of Satmar on the Shabbos of Parshat Shoftim. Printed in 1966 by Lifa Friedman, Tel Aviv.
The drash was given because of a new fashion that came into being for women’s clothing and it constituted a severe impediment among the righteous. The drash explains the foundation of such fences and limits around the Torah. He mentions a nice commentary from his grandfather the Admor Yeitev Lev on the verse “it is permitted to man from the animal ayn”—the importance in man lies in the fact that he can say no to his desires.
22x33cm, stains, folds.
