Lot 220:
Chiddushei HaRamban, New York 1950, given as a mishloach manot to Rabbi Yitzchok Flakser, Av Beit Din of Agudas Yisrael, by his students at the Sfat Emet yeshiva of the Gur chassidus.
Among his students was the Admor of Gur, Rabbi Yaakov Alter, shlita.
The blank first leaf has a taped leaf decorated and bearing the inscription: “from the shiur on the Purim Meshulash, mishloach manot for our teacher the rahag Moharar Rabbi Yitzchok Flakser shlita, Purim 1954.”
Signed to the letter are the names of 50 students, including the present Admor of Gur, when he was 15 years old and a student there. Good condition.
The Sfat Emet yeshiva is the leading yeshiva of the Gur chassidus in Israel; it was founded before the Shoah in Jerusalem.
