Handwritten dedication from the Admor Rabbi Meshulam Issachar Ashkenazi of Stanislav-London on the book Tziyon LeDaresh, New York 1946. Long dedication (6 lines) handwritten to Rabbi Alexander Feierstein—London 1951. Very good condition.

Rabbi Meshulam Issachar Ashkenazi was Av Beit Din of Stanislav-London (1902-1995). He was known as a great tzaddik who forcefully defended the Torah as far as laws between man and God were concerned, while also very careful about laws between “adam l’chavero”. His divrei Torah and stories were published in the book “Tiferet Meshulam”, which has letters exchanged with sages of his generation including praise for him. Rabbi Wosner wrote of him “as is known, he had the holy image of his grandfather the Chacham Zvi”. His son-in-law is the Admor of Erlau shlita.
