Lot 182:
Zikaron Menachem, a commentary on the Tikkunei HaZohar by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Budick. The author died while editing and correcting the book, on the 17th of Tishrei, when he was still finishing the Tikkuna Chad v’Esrin, upon the verse “and the Ark rested on the 7th month on the 17th day on the Mt. of Ararat”. Original: [1], 107 leaves,
missing three leaves from the end of the book. Tape without missing part of the title page, and tape on the first and last leaves. Lone moth hole, good condition.
Rabbi Menachem Mendel Budick (1825-1875) was a student of Rabbi Shalom “HaSar Shalom” of Belz, Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac of Zidichev, and Rabbi Meir of Przmyslan. He was a kabbalist and chassid, as noted in the introduction to this book, printed shortly after his death. He also wrote Mif’a lot HaTzaddikim and Ma’aseh Tzaddikim.
