Includes Rabbi Shmuel Snoil Klappisch, Ra’avad in Warsaw, Rabbi Shabtai Sheptil HaLevi Horwitz (Av Beit Din in Kliye), Rabbi Zeev Lipshitz (Av Beit Din in Ozerkov), Rabbi Issachar Tamar (author of Alei Tamar on the Yerushalmi), Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Leib Heller (Av Beit Din of Chechnowitz), Rabbi Moshe Yosef Schwartz (Av Beit Din of Freistadt), and Rabbi Mordechai Gutterman (Av Beit Din of Yanovtza).


1. Ezrat Nashim by the Maharam ben Chaviv, Leipzig 1859. Bound with the book Machatzit HaShekel on halachot of salting and niddah. First edition, Lemberg 1860. Copy owned by Rabbi Shmuel Snoil Klappisch (1820? – 1902), Ra’avad in Warsaw and a great Polish posek. Good condition.

2. Pe’er HaDor—Shut of the Rambam, Lemberg 1850. Stamp of Rabbi Shabtai Sheptil HaLevi Horwitz (Av Beit Din in Kliye). Signature on the title page from Horodenka, Yisrael Meir Berez. No binding, good condition.

3. Atzei Aden—Rabbi Asher Zelig Margaliyot. Frankfurt-der-Oder 1806. Copy of Rabbi Zeev Lipshitz (Av Beit Din in Ozerkov), with his son’s signature (Rabbi Yisrael Chaim Lipshitz). Moth holes, fair to good condition.

4. Shut Zikaron Yehuda, Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald. Ohel 1928. Signature of Rabbi Issachar Tamar (author of Alei Tamar on the Yerushalmi and a rabbi in Breslau). Binding detached, good condition.

5. Sefer Yeshuot Yaakov on the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah, Rabbi Yaakov Meshulam Orenstein. First edition, Zolkwa 1835. Copy owned by Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Leib Heller (Av Beit Din of Chechnowitz). Additional signature of “Nachum Zeugmir”. Many moth holes, poor condition.

6. Imrei Binah on the Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah—Rabbi Yisrael Matityahu Auerbach. Przmyslan 1885. Stamp of Rabbi Moshe Yosef Schwartz (Av Beit Din of Freistadt), Nietra district in Czechoslovakia. A few moth holes, binding coming apart, tape on the title page, good condition.

7. Beit Shmuel Acharon (on the Five Books of Torah)—Rabbi Shmuel HaKatan. Lemberg 1894. Bound with the book Minchas Kohen by Rabbi Avraham HaKohen of Pimintil. Signature of Rabbi Mordechai ben Rabbi Issachar Dov Gutterman (Av Beit Din of Yanovtza), student of Rabbi Yehezkel of Ostrovtza. Moth holes, good condition.
