Lot 078:
“B’ezrat the one God who is without a second I will begin to write a tafsir of the Targum Sheni ‘vayehi bod dar iyam Achashverosh’…”. Manuscript in Persian script, a tafsir of the Targum Sheni of Megillat Esther .19th century.
At the beginning is an illustration of the letter “bet” covering an entire page in purple, black, and white. There is an additional illustration on the second leaf—see picture. Corrections and notes by hand in a few places.
80 pages. 18x22cm. New binding (inscribed), tears and erasures, color smudging in a number of places, overall good condition.
