Lot 066:
Handsome silver kiddush cup. The base is triangular, on top of which is a stem-like leg with four leaves. At the top is a matching cover. The body of the cup has engravings of the lions of Judah, a crown, and a frame. There is also a colorful framed plate (blank, for engraving a dedication). The cover has a welding of a pretty figure with a rose and leaves inlaid with a red gem.
It is the minhag of Admorim of Ruzhin and Vizhnitz to use these kinds of cups on Shabbos and yom tov.
The base is stamped “Sterling 925”. Weight: 256g. Height: 20cm. Diameter of the base: 8+cm. Diameter of the cup: 6cm. Unique item in very good condition.
