Auction 48
Lot 058:
Pair of finials (rimonim) for a Sefer Torah, made of tin and coated in silver. Hammerwork of wonderful decorations, and windows made by cutting into the metal, reminiscent of a handsome castle. Each one has 6 bells hanging on two levels.
Pretty work, North African style of the 19th century. Height: 35+cm,
light asymmetry between the two, one is missing a bell. Some of the bells have been swapped in other places. One spins around its axis. Overall good condition.
