Lot 055:
Artistic mezuzah housing, a “mezuzat Chagall”, made of glass with a copper frame coated in 24 carat gold, inside which is a lithograph printing of “Shevet Dan” (the Tribe of Simon) taken from the famous Chagall windows by Marc Chagall at the Ein Karem Hadassah hospital with which he depicted the 12 tribes and more.
Mezuzah numbered 120 out of 1800. Made by Menachem Berman of the Arta Gallery in Jerusalem.
With a signed certificate by Itamar Barkay, the manager of the gallery.
3.5x13cm, weight 300g. Engraving of a copy of the artist’s signature.
With a matching luxurious box.
