Lot 219:
Letter from him to Rabbi Meir Wunder. The note that he left for Rabbi Wunder comes during the time he managed the Ponivezh Yeshiva library. He writes that he returned the Zohar(!) and other books in their place, and asks that he find for him the books of the Chesed L’Avraham.

Rabbi Chacham Zvi Halberstam (1938-1972) was the son of Rabbi Yaakov Halberstam of Tchokowa, known as a talmid chacham who corresponded with the poskim of the generation. He was revered by tzaddikim and admorim of the Chassidic world and he published many books including unpublished texts from the Divrei Haim of Sanz and the Maggid of Kozhnitz.
