Heter 100 Rabbanim given in 1947, around two years after the Shoah, probably to a Jewish refugee who survived the Shoah and who could not find his wife after the horrible events. The heter was put together by the Beit Din Tzedek of the Eida Charedit in Jerusalem,

signed by dayanim, Rabbi Yerucham Fishel Bernstein, head of the Chayei Olam yeshiva, Rabbi Naftali Zvi Shmerler, and Rabbi Yisrael Yitzhak Reisman, Ra’avad of the Chassidic communities in Jerusalem.

With an additional 97 signatures, including

the Admor Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag (HaSulam),

Rabbi Chanoch Dov Padova Av Beit Din of London,

Admor Rabbi Mordechai Goldman of Zwohil,

Rabbi Avraham HaLevi Ish Horwitz,

Rabbi Binyamin Rabinowitz,

Rabbi Asher Zelig Margaliyot,

Rabbi Amram Blau,

Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank,

and many others. A rare and exciting historic item.

The upper portion is cut off out of respect for the living and dead referred to in the heter. Creases, very good condition, 39x23cm.
